​​​​​Laura Pee is a mixed-media artist based in Leicester. Often inspired by her roots in Norfolk, she enjoys celebrating the slower pace of making and creating. Her love for the Natural World is embedded within every piece.

Using a cosmic palette of colours, she explores feelings of nostalgia and threads memories within her work. Laura reminisces on the days spent at her Great Nanny Sheila’s house, where her love for vintage magazines and collage began. A safe space, where layers upon layers of flowers would bloom. Tales from WWII were told, tea was always on the go, and cake was strongly encouraged. Through collecting vintage gems, Laura encapsulates energy, love, and moments from the past.

Inspired by themes of surrealism, metamorphosis, and the vastness of space - our miraculous rock in the universe, shaped by countless tiny phenomena - Laura's work explores the fleeting yet deeply individual nature of our time on Earth... Exploring what brings joy when creating art, is an integral part of Laura's work.
